How To Use

Create a custom bingo game your little learners will love – here’s everything you need to know:

Step 1 – Choose Your Grid Size

Select a grid size from the dropdown. Bigger grids mean more squares to fill and more words needed.

  • 2×2 – 4 squares. Great for early learners.
  • 3×3 – 9 squares. A gentle introduction to bingo for younger children.
  • 4×4 – 16 squares. A solid all-rounder for most classroom use.
  • 5×5 – 25 squares. The classic bingo experience, great for older learners.

Step 2 – Free Center Square

For 3×3 and 5×5 grids, you can turn on a free center square. When enabled, the middle square is marked FREE on every board – giving players an automatic head start.

Step 3 – Cards Per Page

Choose how your bingo boards are laid out on the page.

  • 2 per page – two boards printed portrait on one sheet. Great for saving paper.
  • 1 per page – one board printed landscape, larger. Better for younger learners or whole-class display.

Step 4 – How Many Boards

Enter how many unique bingo boards you want – up to 40. Each board is uniquely shuffled, so no two are the same.

Step 5 – Add a Title (optional)

Give your bingo game a name – it will appear above every board. Great for themed sets like “Times Tables Bingo” or “Animal Sounds Bingo.”

Step 6 – Pick Your Colors

Use the two color pickers to customize how your boards look.

  • Lines and Border Color – changes the grid lines and outer border of each board.
  • Word Color – changes the color of the text inside the squares.

Click the colored square to open the color picker.

Step 7 – Enter Your Words

Type your words or numbers into the Main Word column. A few things to keep in mind:

  • You need enough words to fill the grid, plus two extra for variety across boards. The word counter below the list will let you know when you’re ready.
  • Need more rows? Hit + Add Another Word to add one.

Step 8 – Add Calling Clues (optional)

If you’d like to include calling clue cards in your PDF, add a calling clue next to each word. This is what gets read out during the game – it can be anything from a simple definition to a math fact or a riddle. For example, main word: 8, calling clue: 2 times 4.

Step 9 – Generate and Download

Hit Generate Bingo Boards when you’re happy with your settings, then click Download PDF to save your printable file.

Your boards are ready to print and hand out. For a set that lasts, print onto card or laminate. Store your calling clue cards in a small envelope or ziplock bag for easy reuse.
