Once youโve downloaded them, youโll need to print the pages off onto paper or card.
Then cut them out.
Once theyโre all cut out, Iโd advise laminating them to keep them looking nice and so your little ones can use the puzzles again.

How To Use These CVC Cards



Thereโs a few different ways you can use this phonics printable with your children depending on their reading and writing ability and which skills they need to develop.
CVC Puzzles
This oneโs pretty straight forward, cut out the puzzles into their 3 parts and place them onto the table. You may want to just use one puzzle at a time or mix some up if you think theyโre confident enough.
Then your little learners will just need to put the puzzles back together again saying each sound and blending the word as they do so.
CVC Writing Practice
For this one youโll need to print off a copy but cut off the bottom part with the letters. Your children will then need to put the pieces together to complete the picture. Then they can segment the word into its sounds and write the letters below the puzzle.
CVC Flashcards
And another way you can use these cards are as flash cards for your children to practiceย sounding out and blending.
For this you may want to cover the picture and get your little ones to read the letters below. Then, its time for the big reveal to see if they got it right!
You could also turn this into a โkeep itโ game. If they get it right, they getย to keep it, if not, it goes back to the bottom of the pile. Keep going until theyโve got them all.
