What Skills Can Your Children Learn And Practice?
With these farmer badge templates, your children are able to practice:
- Cutting Skills – if you feel they’re ready, you can let them have a go at cutting out the cards all by themselves – they’ll need to be careful and have good scissor control if they want to cut them out neatly
- Pencil Control – if you print off the black and white sheet they can practice their pencil control and develop hand strength through coloring – and there’s a space to write their name and age as well as draw their picture.
- Imagination, storytelling and social / communication skills – as they use them in their dramatic play and become little farmers.

Other Materials You’ll Need:
- Safety scissors
- Card stock or craft paper
- Some coloring pencils or pens
There’s color and black and white to choose from and I’ve made 2 sizes.
One which is standard size so would fit in a lanyard (which could be cool!).
And one which is oversized so they have a bit more room to write their names and draw their pictures!
After that, all that’s left is to cut them out and color them in if needs be.
