How To Prepare This CVC words with pictures game
First you need to download them by clicking on the download box at the bottom of the page.
After that, you’ll need to carefully cut them out.
There’s 40 CVC word cards included.
Then I’d advise laminating them, especially if you want to be able to use them again. Here’s an affordable laminator if you don’t have one:

Some Ideas For How To Use This CVC Words Game



There’s a few different ways you can use this printable with your children depending on their reading and writing ability and which skills they need to develop.
One way, is you can use the cards as they are, as flash cards for your children to practice sounding out and blending the simple CVC words.
When they are confident, you can cut out the puzzle piece letters and see if they can find the correct sounds to correctly spell the word in the picture. This will test their segmenting and letter recognition skills. You may want to just start with the letters of that word and see if they can order them correctly, before mixing letters from other words as well.
